Welcome to GIF.new ("GIF.new", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GIF.new website and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Eligibility#
The Service is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to use GIF.new. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Accounts#
You are not required to create an account to use the core features of GIF.new. Certain paid features may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
Subscriptions & Payments#
GIF.new offers paid subscription plans (currently Starter and Pro). Pricing and plan details are available on the homepage pricing section.
- Payments are processed via Stripe.
- Subscriptions may be billed monthly or yearly.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds#
Refunds are available within 3 days of purchase. Refunds may also be granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
User Content & Ownership#
Ownership#
You retain full ownership of any content (videos, images, GIFs) you create using GIF.new.
Limited License for Hosting#
If you explicitly choose to generate a shareable link or host content via GIF.new, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Local Processing#
Unless you opt into hosting, all processing happens locally in your browser, and your files are not uploaded to our servers.
Acceptable Use#
You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, host, or share any content that:
- Is illegal or unlawful
- Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult in nature
- Involves child sexual content (zero tolerance)
- Is violent, hateful, or abusive
- Infringes intellectual property or other rights of others
We reserve the right to remove hosted content and suspend or terminate access for violations of these rules.
Content Moderation & Takedowns#
We may remove or disable access to hosted content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

We do not currently have a registered DMCA agent, but we will review and act on valid notices.
Termination#
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion is available via the dashboard.
Disclaimers#
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GIF.new shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
Governing Law#
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms#
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
